It is important that, as a manufacturer, you meet your obligations as far as the CPD (and any other applicable EU legislation) is concerned, but there is no point in you performing unnecessary tests. However:
- is your product still denied access to markets in other European countries even though you have done all that is necessary to comply with the CPD?
- in addition to CE marking, are you being asked to perform additional tests or obtain product certification before your product can be used?
